On 7 and 8 October, Zagreb Fair welcomed more than 3,000 participants from over 50countries for Adria Security Summit 2026, the largest security industry event in Southeast Europe, organised by a&s Adriatrade magazine . Over the two days, a wide range of products and services in electronic security and other areas of thesecurity industry were showcased by 160 exhibitors, alongside numerous business meetings between manufacturers,distributors, system integrators and users of security solutions.
The exhibition and conference programme gave participantsan opportunity to explore new technologies firsthand, exchange professional insights and discuss partnerships aimed atenhancing security and supporting business growth.
“The eleventh edition of the Summit once again fulfilled its mission. We brought people together and provided a platformfor new business opportunities and partnerships. By welcoming European and global companies to our region, weenabled local professionals and businesses to establish direct connections with international partners while showcasingtheir own expertise and solutions. This year’s Summit brought physical and cybersecurity topics together with critical infrastructure protection, applications ofartificial intelligence, smart technologies and fire protection. The conference programme offered a broader perspective onthe changes shaping the security sector, while the exhibition demonstrated how the technologies presented are beingapplied in practice. Across 44 talks, panel discussions and presentations, representatives of the industry, the public andprivate sectors, and end users explored market needs and opportunities to improve the protection of people, property andbusiness processes. The event was supported by all regional security industry associations.
The event concluded with the presentation of the a&s Adria Awards 2026, recognising achievements and innovation in thesecurity industry. The awards highlight products, services and projects that contribute to the development of securitysolutions and their practical application, from access control and fire protection to cybersecurity and smart cities.
In the Access Control category, Suprema Inc received the award for BioStar Air, while Tenzor won Best Case Study for itsproject Digital Logistics and Traceability at Pomgrad. Marlink and Avola won the Cybersecurity award for their securityoperations centre (SOC) and automated processes that protect critical business operations serving the public interest, whileElektro-log took the Fire Alarm award for THERMOCABLE.
Alarmautomatika was recognised in the Intrusion Detectioncategory for Ajax Wireless Grade 3, and i-PRO received the Most Innovative Product award for its i-PRO X Series fisheyecameras. In the PA/VA Systems category, Zenitel won for VAIA, a compact system combining public address and voiceevacuation, while EdgeDX received the Smart City Projects award for its solution of the same name.
