The head of the Vetëvendosje Movement assembly group in Pristina, Gëzim Sveçla, reacted through a Facebook post after the appearance of the Mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, on Debat Plus, accusing him of arrogance and evasion of responsibility for the situation in the capital.
“Last night, in a television studio, in an assisted monologue, Përparim Rama once again demonstrated his arrogance and tendency to evade responsibility,” Sveçla wrote.
He claimed that Rama, instead of being accountable for the city’s issues, has focused mainly on Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the Vetëvendosje Movement.
“Instead of giving an account of the unacceptable situation in the capital, he spent most of his time dealing with Albin Kurti, the Vetëvendosje Movement, accusing and insulting government ministers…”, he wrote.
Sveçla listed some of the problems that, according to him, were not addressed in Rama’s presentation, including garbage, stray dogs, traffic, and the state of public enterprises.
“No concrete word about the garbage that is covering the city. No plan for stray dogs. No solution for the traffic jams and chaos. No answer for public enterprises on the verge of collapse,” Sveçla stressed, adding that there was, according to him, “no vision for green spaces, parking lots, schools or kindergartens.”
In his post, he also criticized what he calls labeling of citizens.
“In the end, he called the citizens of this country corrupt,” Sveçla wrote.
Sveçla concluded the reaction with harsh criticism of Rama.
“Rama’s progress is the clearest proof that Pristina has somewhere fallen into sin,” he wrote. / Telegraph /
